Can kids learn how to read at a young age?
They can, but remember that every child learns to read at different times. The best way to prep your child for reading is to have them hold and look at the pictures in a book.
The pictures are what will draw them in, and that will have them wanting to learn how to read the words on the pages and turn the pages to see what happens.
Even if they don’t show an interest in reading, showing an interest in turning the pages of a book is a great place to start!
